I might be going a little overboard to say that you can get famous on Instagram but you can at least get very popular. You never know, fame may also be in it if you have the right material to post. It is all in the image quality and in the overall appeal of the posts that are made.
I try my best to make posts that are well worth sharing. It helps if they are emotionally charged and if they are sharp and clear. I make sure that I use only the most colourful photos and stock images that I have in my collection.
To do this will help you get more followers on Instagram. That is the goal after all so you want to stay focused on it. At certain times and with certain posts, I will buy the followers and likes that I think I need in order to make a post look more popular. That helps.
Basically, I find that people are more likely to follow posts that are already popular. This is just a matter of simple psychology. You make your lagging posts look more popular with purchased likes and followers. Do not think of it as cheating. A lot of people do it.
I am just careful with how I do it and I am always distributing those bought followers evenly over the posts I think need to have that sort of a boost. Again, it is all about the image. If you have good quality pictures that grab attention and you make them look popular, you hook people in.
Your followers can also become your email subscribers if you make one good move. I use my bio as leverage. By keeping my bio succinct and clear, brief enough to be pointed, people are more likely to read it. I put in a call to action, offering discounts to those who sign up for my email list.
Keep in mind that the bio is the only spot on Instagram that you can put an email link. It is not possible to do it right on the post. This little tactic will get your followers to become subscribers more and more. My followers like the fact they can get special deals on my products by signing up.
I also use interaction to get more followers on Instagram. I make it a point to like their posts whether I truly do or not. I follow them just like they follow me. I leave comments that are positive and uplifting and they do the same for me. It is a bit of a trade of but you need to do it to keep your followers.
I am sparing with my hashtag use as well. You can use hashtags to a certain extent. Just do not get all wild with it every time. Use only tags that are truly relevant to the posts you make. I use tags that lead to other good posts. There is no real need to go up to the maximum number of hashtags Instagram allows.
